Site design and ecommerce

This week, I learned about website design and online shopping, which helped me understand how to build a successful online business. By comparing two similar websites, I found that effective sites have important features like simple navigation, easy-to-read product grids, large promotion banners, and mobile-friendly layouts. Customer reviews and secure payment options are also crucial. These features create a shopping experience that feels fast and safe, allowing customers to find what they need and complete purchases easily.

Websites should have clean designs with real images. It's important to create user-friendly sites that load quickly and guide visitors smoothly. The e-commerce guide offered useful steps, such as picking the right platform, using quality product photos, adding reviews to build trust, and ensuring an easy checkout process to avoid losing sales.

I learned that good design focuses on understanding users and removing obstacles to buying. This week highlighted the importance of a clear website structure, starting with an inviting homepage, easy category browsing, detailed product views, and a simple checkout process. I look forward to using these ideas and prioritizing user experience to create a connection with customers.
